Mat Phong Commands

How can i save it so that when i start it up it already is entered.

The mat phong setting enables or disables phong shading. Essentially this affects the lighting and shadows on weapons and characters. As you can see the solider looks a bit darker but a bit more cartoony somewhat like the original tf2 trailers. Mat phong 1 is your default tf2 setting mat phong 0 is the command where it removes all the phong from your character and shades it.

How does one make it so mat phong 0 is always on when you start the game. I been using the command mat phong 0 alot but when i leave the game and play it again later i have to insert that command back into the console. Aug 24 2013 7 13pm. Right click tf2 properties launch options type mat phong 0 in the launch options dammit i put the high nojoy noipx dxlevel 81 in for reduce lag and now i cant put that in cause if i delete it mah potato laptop will lag as heck dont worry u dont have to delete u can click all the way to the end and type mat phong 0 ez 11.

Ive heard about mat phong 0 being a cool high performance thing and i also heard you could have it every time you startd it up.
