Mat For The Homeless

The purpose of this group is to use the plastic bag strips to crochet into 30 inch by 70 inch roughly 2 5 feet by 6 feet sleeping mats for the homeless.

In return they received a group of pictures of individuals with their new mats. The group wove 25 mats and donated them to a homeless shelter. In the beginning the mats were taken to cornerstone ministry in the uptown area of chicago. Don t forget the dogs.
